Hi beauties!
I cannot believe it is already time for my July beauty favorites! It feels like I just took photos for last month’s favorites!
My beauty favorites don’t change much, but this month I did find myself attracted to a few different products.
Skincare:
I discovered Noxzema’s Deep Cleansing Cream while I was at Walgreens and googled some reviews about it, and it had great reviews for clearing up acne. This past month I have been using this a lot and I do notice a difference. My skin has cleared up more and if I do get occasional pimples they don’t linger very long.
Face Makeup:
Benefit’s The POREfessional skin primer is absolutely amazing. I recently finished my MAC Prep + Prime face primer– which I did not really like but used anyway– so I started to use the little sample I got from using 100 points at Sephora. This primer really goes on smoothly, diminishes the look of your pores, and leaves your face soft and mattified. I highly recommend this product!
One of the newest blushes that I added to my ever growing collection is MAC’s Gingerly blush. It is a nice dark peach/tan satin blush with great pigmentation and lasting power. I have been looking for a nice matte blush that is great for everyday use, and this one is amazing.
Eye Makeup:
Lately I have been loving colored eyeliner to add to my waterline for a dash of color. Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Chaos is a beautiful cobalt blue eyeliner pencil. It glides on smoothly since it is creamy and has great pigmentation as well as lasting power. Pair this with some black winged eyeliner and lots of mascara, and your eyes will pop.
Purple is another color that I have been fawning over this past month. Sephora’s flashy liner in Flashy Purple is a great inexpensive eyeliner with lasting power and great pigmentation. I purchased this eyeliner probably two years ago, but never really used it until now. Unfortunately, they no longer have this item, but any purple liner would look great.
L’Oreal’s Infallible Eyeshadows in Endless Pearl and Bronzed Taupe are amazing and inexpensive eyeshadows that I have been using constantly this past month. The shadows are very pigmented and extremely smooth and soft. I generally never end up liking drugstore products that I buy to try out, but these are absolutely amazing. I will definitely be picking up some more colors!
Lips:
My love for purple lip colors has escalated to dangerous levels and I cannot go a day without putting something purple on my lips. The two products I have been leaning towards are Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Darling and BiteBeauty’s high pigment matte pencil in Violet. Revlon’s
balm stain in Darling is a pinkish purple sheer balm that stains your lips a natural pink color. The color is very sheer at first, but it is buildable and becomes a glossy purple shade. BiteBeauty is a brand that I recently discovered and their matte pencil is the first product of theirs that I have tried. So far, I absolutely love it! The lip color is very pigmented and goes on smoothly since it is very creamy. The finish is not matte, but it reminds me of MAC’s amplified lipsticks because of the intense color payoff and consistency. Definitely worth the money!
Boathouse Row from Bath and Body Works is an amazing candle that I have been burning this past month. It smells like a sexy boy that just stepped out of a steaming hot shower. That is the only way that I can describe this candle. Although, Bath and Body Works describes it nicely: “Notes of moss, green sage and bay leaves capture the essence of a cool retreat in the shade with deep, blue water on the horizon.” As you can tell from the photo, I have completely finished the candle. Good thing I have an extra back up!
I thought it would be good to see swatches of the beauty products so you could get a feel for what they actually look like on the skin.

Favorite Artist:
Lastly, I thought I would throw in my favorite artist of the month: Jhene Aiko. I absolutely adore her music. Some of you may know her from the song July by Drake that she was featured on, but that song does not do her justice. Her voice is very gentle, soft and soothing as is her music. I love all of her songs, but my favorites are:
- Mirrors
- 3:16 AM
- You vs Them
- Higher
- In Love We Trust
If you like R&B, you will love her!
Well, that’s all for this month. I hope you try out some of the products I mentioned and love them as much as I do. Let me know what you think as well as what your favorite products for the month of July have been. Don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks for reading :).
