Favorite Nude Lip Combo At The Moment

Nude lips are perfect for balancing out a dark smokey eye and for an everyday natural look. I used to hate nude lips, but now I absolutely love them! And, after watching the 2014 People’s Choice Awards, it was apparent that nude lips were definitely in on the red carpet too.

Of course, my new found love for nude lipsticks means that I have been buying literally every nude lip color in sight, but two products stick out the most to me in my collection, and I want to share them with you all!

My favorite nude lip combo at the moment is NYX Cosmetics retractable lip liner in Natural topped with Stila’s stay-all-day liquid lipstick in Bellissima.

Bellissima is a gorgeous pale pink neutral lip color; it is very pigmented so make sure you only dab on a little! The lipstick comes in a tube (thus, the liquid lipstick aspect of it) and it has a doe foot applicator, which makes it very easy to apply. The NYX lip liner in natural is a nudey brown color, which looks very natural and beautiful on medium/tan/olive skin. I like that it is retractable so you do not have to constantly hunt for your sharpener.

I begin by lining my lips with the NYX lip liner and then fill them in as well. Then, I dab on a few dots of the Stila liquid lipstick, smack my lips together and blend it all with my ring finger for a more natural look. The Stila liquid lipstick is pretty matte and drying so make sure you exfoliate and moisturize before applying these two beauties otherwise it will crack and settle into the lines on your lips. Pair this with a smokey black or brown eye and you are golden!
