It’s finally here– almost! My twenty-second birthday (and, no, I am not “feelin 22”) is a week away so, of course, I had to make a little birthday wishlist of products that I have been coveting.
The first product that I have really been wanting is the Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo. Lately I have been loving literally every nude lipstick and of course, this one is definitely a luxurious splurge. But, it is my birthday so why not?!
Chanel is one of those luxury brands that, in my mind, is the epitome of glamor and luxury. I have been wanting to purchase Chanel’s Vitalumière Aqua for about a year now, but I never purchased it because I was always buying other products. I have heard amazing things about this product, so I definitely want to try it out. It will be great for the coming up spring and summer seasons when I don’t want to wear a heavy foundation on my face since it will just melt off in the Texas sun.
A second Chanel product that I have been coveting is the Soleil Tan de Chanel, which is another product that is very popular here in the beauty community. I just recently began contouring with cream products– I use the Maybelline Fit Me foundation stick in Coconut– and I absolutely love it. But, of course, one cream contour product is just not enough so I am excited to get my hands on this.
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders have received a lot of praise this past year, and I really want to try out their Diffused Lighting powder, which is a very finely milled highlighting powder. It is supposed to make your skin look flawless and give it a very radiant glow– who doesn’t love that?!
Armani is another brand that symbolizes luxury. SO many people in the beauty community are obsessed with this foundation, and I am a foundation junkie so I really want to get my hands on the Luminous Silk Foundation. It is really expensive so I will probably be getting a sample to try this out before I really dive in and hand over sixty dollars.
Last is a brand that I have been wanting to try out for a long time– Kevyn Aucoin. I heard about Kevyn Aucoin about a year ago and instantly wanted to try their products, but for some reason I just haven’t purchased anything from them. I love bronzing powders and this Sculpting Powder really caught my eye as I was perusing through his products on the Nordstrom website. This product has really great reviews and you can use it contour your cheek bones as well as your eyes!
Currently I am trying to spend less and finish up some of the products that I already have since I currently own about five foundations and bronzers, which, to me, is a lot. However, I definitely will get my hands on these products soon!
