I don’t talk about nail polishes enough here on Nida Does Beauty, and I don’t know why considering I have a large, constantly expanding collection. Although winter is upon us, I still love some soft nude and pastel shades at times, and these are some of my year round favorites.

Tickle My France-y| Don’t Pretzel My Buttons| Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around| Mod About You| You’re Such A Budapest.

Tickle My France-y| This shade has a creme finish and it is a nudish brown with mauve undertones. It is a sophisticated shade with just the right amount of color so if you’re looking for a nude with a twist, you should definitely check this one out!

Don’t Pretzel My Buttons| If you want more of a nude beige color that has yellow undertones, this is a great one! Polishes with yellow undertones look great on warm skin tones so if you have a hard time finding a good nude because you have a warmer complexion, this one would be good for you. The consistency is thick and creamy so it goes on opaque with just one application, which is great if you are in a hurry. Unfortunately, I just found out this shade is limited addition so you might have to shop around at your local Ulta or some place that sells OPI because it is hard to get a hold of. However, if you can find this for a reasonable price, I definitely would pick it up!

Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around| This particular shade is definitely my favorite nudey-pink because it is very creamy, opaque, and the color is just so stunning. I veer towards this color when I have an interview or want my fingernails to look more “ladylike.” I recently filed my nails into an almond shape, and this nail color looks even more stunning on my new nails! Love.

Mod About You| Once upon a time, I used to be obsessed with pink nail polishes, and I had every shade of pink imaginable in my collection. Those days have since passed, and I have gotten rid of most of my pink nail polishes because they no longer appeal to me. This shade, however, is one that I love and always will love. Mod About You is a baby pink shade with a creme finish that looks very classy and elegant. If you prefer more demure pink shades rather than rambunctious, in-your-face pinks, this will be a great addition to your collection.

You’re Such A Budapest| Last, but certainly not the least, is You’re Such A Budapest. This is a periwinkle lavender shade that also has a creme finish and applies opaque with just one application. I think this color is a very pretty shade that is very unique. I’m picky about which kind of lavender, purple shades I like, but this one is stunning in person. Although this shade is not a nude or pink color, it is still very ladylike in my opinion, and it looks amazing on every skin tone.

Can you tell that I am infatuated with creme nail polishes? There is something about the consistency of a good creme nail polish that I adore. Although I do like jelly finishes, I tend to pick up creme ones instead, which is why most of the nail polishes in my collection have a creme finish. All of these shades are subtle, yet gorgeous, and I tend to stare at my nails while driving when I’m wearing these colors. That’s probably really bad, but they just look so beautiful in the sunlight that I can’t help it!

Also, can we just take a moment to applaud OPI and their punny nail polish names? It gets me every time!
