It’s finally holiday season and that means that many of us will be traveling whether it be to see family, friends, or just because we need a good vacation. Traveling light can be extremely difficult, and that is why I try not to pack too many skincare items because if I took everything I wanted to it would take up too much space in my bag. The following products are essentials that I take with me no matter what.

Cleanser| This Shiseido White Lucent cleanser is a deluxe sample size, which makes it really travel friendly. I haven’t used it too many times so I don’t know if it really brightens the skin, but it does clean my skin nicely. The only downside to this is that it can be a bit too drying sometimes, but if you have a good moisturizer it’s not too big of a deal.

Eye Cream| Eye cream is a must for me, and should be for you too! Traveling usually means long days out and probably long nights out as well so having a good eye cream is essential. This one contains Vitamin C so it will brighten those under eyes. It will also provide hydration for the skin under eyes, which is extremely delicate, so skipping on the eye cream while traveling shouldn’t be on your to-do list!

Moisturizer| Another must have is a good moisturizer. I love using oils to moisturize because I find that they hydrate my skin the best. This bottle of the Tarte Maracuja Oil is a small size that is easy to travel with, and you can even take it with you in your carry on bag.

Lip Balm| Nobody likes chapped lips regardless of whether they’re at home or out and about traveling. I recently did a whole post on Chicken Poop, the lip balm (I still crack up every time). Since this lip balm is hydrating, but fairly inexpensive, it is a great travel buddy because you won’t be out too much money if you lose it.

Of course, you can’t forget sunscreen, which is extremely important for your skin, but I forgot to include it in my photo (oops). The sunscreen I use is from Osmotics and I absolutely love it. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy nor does it  leave a white film on your skin.
